Earlier in my career, I did community management and moderation for a variety of EA brands. This work helped me understand fandoms and how social could impact brand perception. Here are some of the brands I worked on:

For EA (my humble beginnings in social) I acted as a community manager for the brand’s top games like Mass Effect, Need for Speed, Battlefield and Dead Space. From moderating forums to engaging with fans online on Facebook and Twitter, I learned the ropes and how to engage with fans and followers like a human responding to them on an emotional level and building a connection.
I also experimented and had fun. From creating a online a persona as a moderator, to building custom response assets for EA to engage fans with, to doing strategy for Battlefiled, Origin, and Need for Speed, I learned to show a more fun and playful side, and learned how to create content that catered to online communities.
